Detailed Analysis of Flyash Bricks

flyash bricks

We, Udayam flyash bricks are one of the leading manufacturers of fly ash bricks in Coimbatore and we supply in and around Coimbatore. Hence we are the own manufacturers of fly ash bricks it’s our duty to bring the light on fly ash bricks and their detailed analysis to our customers by giving just 5 minutes read over it.

FlyAsh Bricks is a high-tech, improved-quality brick used in the construction of brick structures. They are used as an alternative to ordinary adobe bricks and have better properties than them. Fly ash bricks are comparable to traditional clay bricks and offer significant indirect benefits. The use of fly ash blocks helps conserve natural resources and protect the environment.

Source substances of flyash bricks:

These power plants produce approximately 40 million tons of fly ash annually. Fly ash contains CO2 emitted from thermal power plants, and industries that use coal as fuel emit unnecessary ash and smoke, generating fly ash. Cyclone converters separate fly ash in all power plants and industries. This fly ash is used as raw material for bricks.

Resolves Pollution Threats of Flyash Bricks:

Fly ash is a major contributor to air and water pollution, and its disposal consumes vast amounts of land. For this reason, a well-planned fly ash management program will improve the use of fly ash in a variety of applications and help protect an already dangerously imbalanced environment.

Making of FlyAsh Bricks:

Flyash bricks is nothing more than a slow-setting Pozzallona cement mixture. The process is similar to making cement in a cement factory, burning clay and limestone with coal and gypsum. and mix it into cement.

Fly ash is also mixed with fly ash that has been burned with clay particles (clay oxides) obtained from the combustion of clay-bearing coal from mines. Slaked lime powder and gypsum are mixed and ground in a pot to form pozzolana cement, which hardens slowly. The mixture is 350 kg/sq.in. At this pressure rate and held under pressure for the desired time, the fly ash brick acquires ultimate strength.

Environmental Benefits of FlyAsh Bricks:

Increasing greenhouse gases, of which CO2 is one of the main constituents, increase global warming year by year, causing droughts and floods. Total global CO2 emissions were nearly 25 billion tons at 1990 levels, one of the major industries being the cement and building materials industry. CO2 emissions are about 90 million tons from cement and about 49 million tons from clay brick manufacturing in India.

According to current practice in India, one million clay bricks consume about 200 tons of coal (or other fuel with the same calorific value) and emit about 270 tons of CO2. Producing fly ash bricks in an energy-free manner completely saves emissions. This makes the project eligible for the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) as envisioned by the Kyoto Protocol for the benefit of Mother Earth.
